About the Role:

Due to continued growth, Mader Group are currently seeking Boilermakers to join our roaming shutdown crew servicing the Bowen Basin and Gailee Mines. Multiple sites, multiple rosters, 4-6 week shutdowns.

Key duties:

• Fixed Plant Maintenance - planned & unplanned including breakdown repairs
• Performing maintenance on CHPP equipment, crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps & more
• Welding and Fabrication duties

What do I need to join?

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Cert III or equivalent)
• Drivers Licence (required)
• Desirable: Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas testing atmospheres, Forklift/HR license, Construction white card etc. (willing to obtain)
• QLD Coal Board Medical (highly regarded)
• Standard 11 SOA (highly regarded)
• National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtain one
• Previous mining or heavy industrial experience (2+ years ideal)
• Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to working safely and effectively in a team environment
• Motivated, hardworking and reliable with a professional attitude
