We’re seeking experienced HME Boilermakers to join our maintenance team on a major mining project near Nyngan, NSW.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for structural repairs, fabrication and maintenance across heavy mining equipment, including excavators and haul trucks.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Structural repairs and fabrication on heavy mining equipment
• Bucket, tray and wear package repairs
• Welding, air arc gouging and other hot work
• Crack repairs and structural repairs to HME components
• Working at heights and in confined spaces where required
• Inspecting damage, identifying repair requirements and completing quality repairs
• Supporting planned maintenance, shutdowns and component rebuilds
• Working safely and efficiently in line with site and manufacturer standards

About you

We’re looking for a trade-qualified Boilermaker with strong HME or heavy mining experience.

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
• Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
• Strong experience with bucket, tray and structural repairs
• Experience with welding, gouging and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Mining or heavy earthmoving experience is essential.
