Civmec are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to drive the successful delivery of a major Refinery Shutdown in Gladstone. This is a great opportunity to be apart of a reliable and talented crew delivering critical shutdown and maintenance work in the local Gladstone region. Bring your expertise and join our team that's committed to innovation, safety and setting high expectations for our client.
The Role
- Various Maintenance Shutdowns and Project works
- Welding techniques including, but not limited to FCAW, MMAW
- Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
- Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
- Solid understanding of current Australian Welding Standards
- Comply with company Quality Control systems and process
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Blue/Yellow Medipass (desirable)
- Construction White Card
- Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens
- Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
