We're partnering with a leading explosives and blasting provider to recruit an experienced Blasting Supervisor to oversee daily operations on a major WA mine site. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, crew leadership, operational performance, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily blasting operations and site crews.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and explosives requirements.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and operational resources.
• Manage explosives inventory and stock accountability.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across site operations.
• Conduct safety meetings, investigations, and audits as required.
• Coach, mentor, and develop members of the blasting team.

About You

• Previous experience as a Blasting Supervisor, Senior Shotfirer, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of explosives and dangerous goods legislation.
• WHS Statutory Supervisor Qualifications.
• G2 Risk Management qualification.
• HR Driver's Licence.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong focus on safety and operational excellence.

Desirable

• Shotfirer Licence.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
• QA Auditing experience.
• Open pit mining experience.
