Description & Requirements

We are seeking experienced Painter/Blasters to join our team working on the Structural Integrity Project in Paraburdoo, WA on a 2:1 roster.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Prepare surfaces using abrasive blasting (including blasting materials and mechanical prep) to achieve the required finish (SA Class 2.5 and above)
• Apply a variety of paint coatings and finishes to surfaces using brush and roller, spray and Airless equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, meeting client specifications and industry regulations
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our painting and surface preparation processes
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all health and safety protocols

What you’ll bring:

• Trade qualifications or certificates, such as a CERT III in surface prep & Coating application ability to pass a painting VOC
• Some knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and the application of a wide range of paint coatings is preferred
• Working at Heights (within 3 years)
• Basic Fire (within 4 years)
• White Card
• Australian Driver's License
• Proof of Right to Work in Australia
