This residential position is based in Mount Isa and operates on an even-time continuous shift roster (7D/7O/7N/7O). Flexibility may occasionally be required in relation to work hours and roster arrangements.

About the Role

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of activities while developing your technical skills and industry knowledge within a multidisciplinary team environment. This residential position is based in Mount Isa and operates on an even-time continuous shift roster (7D/7O/7N/7O). Flexibility may occasionally be required in relation to work hours and roster arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining power generation, oxygen plants, and both high and low pressure compressed air assets
• Collaborating with tradespeople and engineers within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Ensuring operational targets are achieved while maintaining efficient and reliable plant performance

The successful candidate will possess:

• Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification
• Boiler and /or Turbine High Risk License is desirable, however, training will be provided for the right candidate
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• A positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work effectively within a small, high-performing team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
