About the Role
Redpath Mining is currently seeking experienced Sandvik AutoMine Specialists with an electrical trade background to support autonomous underground mining operations across Western Australia. This role is offered on an even-time roster, providing an excellent work-life balance while working on a leading autonomous underground mining project.
You will be responsible for supporting the commissioning, operation, and optimisation of Sandvik AutoMine systems, ensuring safe and efficient autonomous equipment performance underground.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operation and optimisation of Sandvik AutoMine systems
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on Sandvik autonomous equipment
- Troubleshoot automation hardware, sensors, networks, and control systems
- Assist with system upgrades, software updates, and configuration changes
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and OEM representatives
- Promote and maintain high safety and operational standards onsite
Qualifications
- Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
- Proven experience with Sandvik AutoMine
- Underground mining experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in a FIFO environment
- Strong safety focus and communication skills
