Auto Electrician

Job Description

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, and hydraulic issues on underground trucks, mobile plant equipment, light vehicles and other equipment as required for mining mobile plant
• Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and more
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
• Disassembling and reassemble heavy equipment components.
• Using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborating with team members to complete complex repair projects.
• Breakdowns and surface mobile plant maintenance
• Skilled with an extensive range of Mining equipment
• Surface work is also available

About You

• Current & Valid Driver's License (manual required)
• National Police Clearance (validity dependent on site)
• Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
• Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, mobile plant, or similar equipment
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety
