MacKellar Group has partnered with Middlemount Coal since 2015, providing a large equipment hire fleet with full maintenance services at the Middlemount Coal mine site.

We are now seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our growing, well-established operation at Middlemount Mine.

Your New Role

• Permanent position in our well-established maintenance department at the main workshop.
• Perform all areas of machine maintenance, including fault finding, troubleshooting, and scheduled/preventative maintenance.
• Flexible with work hours, including the ability to work day and night shifts.
• Ensure planned repairs are completed on time and within budget.
• Work independently while following direction, contributing to team goals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions collaboratively.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Trade certificate with post-trade experience in Auto Electrical.
• Air-conditioning ticket.
• Experience in servicing and maintaining mining plant and equipment.
• Current Queensland driver licence.
• Experience on diggers highly desirable.
