The Opportunity

Are you an Auto Electrician who enjoys getting out on site, solving complex faults, and working on some of the most advanced heavy equipment in the industry?

Join Komatsu's Metro Field Service team and become the trusted expert our customers rely on. From Smart Construction technology and Intelligent Machine Control (IMC) systems to electrical diagnostics and air-conditioning repairs, you'll work on industry-leading equipment while enjoying the variety and independence that comes with field service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and air-conditioning faults on Komatsu construction equipment.
• Supporting Smart Construction and IMC technologies in the field.
• Delivering exceptional customer service while working safely and independently.
• Preparing clear technical reports and completing service documentation.
• Supporting major maintenance projects and collaborating with workshop and field service teams.

Pay: Excellent rate plus Tool of Trade vehicle plus allowances

About You

You'll be a qualified Auto Electrician who enjoys fault finding, solving problems, and working directly with customers.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician.
• Experience with heavy mobile equipment, mining, construction, agricultural or transport industries.
• Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Air-conditioning experience (highly regarded).
• A safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Great communication skills and a passion for customer service.
