Auto Electrician

The Role

As an Auto Electrician, you will contribute to the delivery of planned maintenance activities across a vast fleet of underground machinery and equipment, helping ensure reliability and performance on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair electrical and electronic systems on underground mobile equipment
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults across wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits
• Install, maintain, and repair safety systems, lighting, communications, and machine telematics
• Carry out inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and uptime
• Attend breakdowns and perform repairs in confined and demanding underground conditions
• Complete accurate maintenance records while adhering to all site safety and compliance standards

What You'll Need

• Recognised Australian Trade Certificate (Automotive Electrician)
• Previous experience working on heavy mining/ earthmoving equipment
• Manual Driver's License
• Air Conditioning Ticket
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug + alcohol screen
• Provide a clean National Police Clearance
