About the Role

Looking for a permanent role with a solid roster, great camp facilities, and a reliable crew? We’re seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team at Boundary Hill, supporting a large fleet of mining equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a day-shift-only position on a 5/4/4/5 roster, offering consistency, work-life balance, and long-term job security.

The Role You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy mining equipment to ensure maximum reliability and uptime across site operations. The role will see you working within a well-established maintenance team, carrying out both breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks.

Duties will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on mobile mining equipment
• Conducting planned maintenance and servicing activities
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding across a range of systems
• Completing repairs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
• Working closely with other trades and site personnel

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Previous experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
• Valid ARC / air-conditioning licence
• Current QLD driver’s licence
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
