Assistant (Stores)- Band 4. Internal/External Advertisement. Lion Smelter – Administration (Stores) Department. Steelpoort, Limpopo. Ref. No. LIOHR416.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12

Skills Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in Material Management environment preferably within Chrome Smelters
  • Forklift driving experience
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • SAP & COUPA knowledge

Job Objectives

  • In this role you will be responsible to the Assistant Controller (Stores) for:
  • Physically and Systematically receiving stock from suppliers
  • Physically and Systematically issuing goods from Stores
  • Capturing of Goods Issues and Receipts on SAP
  • Completion and Filing of documentation
  • Operating of forklift, Manitou and or other lifting equipment, LDV, as part of Stores receiving and issuing duties
  • Physically placing stock in the correct bin locations and bin labeling
  • Consumables, Capital- or Ratable goods packing and stacking practices
  • Marking of all stock items
  • Continuous physical inventory counts
  • SAP & COUPA Reporting
  • Stores and Stock yard housekeeping (system and physical area cleaning and maintenance)
  • Collect required items from Suppliers when required
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures
  • Reconciliation of Bulk materials at Stores and in the Operation
  • Reconciliation of Vendor Managed Inventory and Consignment Stock
  • Overseeing and escorting of Plant deliveries
  • Standby, Overtime and Weekend work when required
