Asphalt HR Truck & Bobcat Operator

Unite Resourcing is currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Truck Operator to join an established asphalt crew based out of Hazelmere, WA.

This is an ongoing opportunity for someone with previous asphalt and civil construction experience who is comfortable working across truck driving, mobile plant operation and general asphalt crew duties.

About the Role
 Duties will include:

• Operating HR trucks to support asphalt paving operations
• Transporting asphalt, materials, equipment and plant between sites
• Working alongside Paver and Roller Operators during asphalt works
• Operating Bobcats and Rollers when required
• Assisting with asphalt laying and general crew duties
• Completing daily vehicle and plant pre-start inspections
• Ensuring loads and equipment are transported safely
• Working around active asphalt paving and mobile plant operations
• Following site, traffic management and safety requirements
• Maintaining vehicles, equipment and work areas
• Supporting the wider asphalt crew as required

What We're Looking For

• HR Truck Licence - minimum
• Previous asphalt industry experience
• Bobcat Ticket - essential
• Roller Ticket - essential
• Construction White Card
• Asphalt mobile plant experience
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and nightshift
• Ability to work away from home when required
