HSEQT Advisor | Mount Carlton Mine | 7/7 Roster | DIDO
Looking for a site-based HSE role where you can genuinely influence safety culture and operational performance?
We are seeking an experienced HSEQT Advisor to join the team at Mount Carlton Mine on a 7 days on / 7 days off DIDO roster. Working within a brownfields mining operation, you will partner closely with leaders and crews to drive compliance, risk management, training, auditing and continuous improvement initiatives across site.
About the Role This is a hands-on, operational role where you'll spend time in the field supporting supervisors and employees, ensuring safety systems are embedded into daily activities. You'll play a key role in maintaining site compliance, conducting audits and investigations, facilitating training, and promoting a strong safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and promote HSEQT systems and initiatives across site
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Coordinate and deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain compliance and training documentation
- Provide practical HSE advice to operational teams
- Monitor compliance against company and legislative requirements
- Support continuous improvement and change management activities
About You
- Previous HSE experience within mining, civil, resources or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and risk management
- Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Strong administration and reporting skills
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or similar qualification preferred
