About the Company

At RCR Mining Technologies – Service Delivery, we manage shutdowns, installations, and breakdowns across the Pilbara. Our team keeps the big gear moving — and we’re proud of our safe, professional environment and supportive team culture.

Because we contract to major players in the region, accepted candidates will have the opportunity to be deployed on shutdowns and maintenance work for some of Australia’s most distinguished mining companies. The point of hire is from Perth, Western Australia.

What you’ll be doing

• Executing complex and heavy lifts — think large apron feeders, shuttles, gates, OEM- supplied heavy mining gear.
• Reading and interpreting lift plans and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Managing rigging gear: checking safety, compliance, and readiness before every lift.
• Working closely with fitters/boilermakers — and providing guidance to less-experienced riggers when needed.
• Operating in a high-safety environment where teamwork, reliability, and safe outcomes come first.

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience on a mining site — preferably in shutdown or heavy-lift rigging.
• Current HRWL with RI or RA.
• A valid C-class driver’s licence.
• Current certifications (within last 2 years): Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas Test Atmospheres & VOC, plus First Attack Firefighting Equipment ticket.
• Strong commitment to safety and a team-first attitude.
• Willingness to work FIFO shutdowns from Perth to the Pilbara.
