About the Role
Location: Blackwater, QLD, 4717
We are looking for Multi Skilled Operators to join our team at Yarrabee located in Blackwater. You will be part of a dynamic and motivated team reporting to the OCE / Supervisor, operating across a range of equipment including dozers, graders and diggers, and taking ownership of your work area. Roster: 7:7, rotating day/night.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in the safe operation of the heavy machinery and equipment on site and demonstrate ownership of your work area.
- Operate and maintain Dozers, Watercarts, Graders & Haul Trucks within a mining or heavy industry environment
- Demonstrate understanding of Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations
- Demonstrate sound communication skills within a mining environment
- Identify hazards and respond to safety issues
- Positively contribute to a company culture
Skills and Experience
- Applicable Coal Competencies - signed by SSE/Delegate
- Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface)
- Maintain and possess a current Queensland Driver's licence
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical
