We are seeking a recent graduate to join our HR Operations team as a HR Administrator at our Henderson office.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources while working in a supportive, high-performing team. You will be exposed to a diverse range of HR activities and projects across our construction, defence, maintenance, and manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the HR/IR Manager, this role sits within the HR Operations team and provides administrative support to a team of HR/IR Advisors across a broad range of Human Resources and Industrial Relations activities.

The Role
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the HR Operations team.
- Managing and responding to enquiries received through the centralised HR mailbox.
- Assisting with the preparation and drafting of employment-related correspondence and documentation, including employment contracts, contract variations, statements of service, visa support letters, performance management and disciplinary correspondence, and other employee lifecycle documentation.
- Assisting with the administration of employee lifecycle activities, including probation reviews, annual performance review cycles, employment changes, and other people processes.
- Attending meetings and preparing accurate meeting notes and minutes.
- Generating and maintaining reports relating to employee and workforce data.
- Coordinating union right of entry requests and associated administrative processes.
- Supporting HR team members with special projects, investigations, and HR initiatives.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring HR documentation is up to date.
- Undertaking other general administrative duties as directed.
About You

- A self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Resourceful, organised, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to travel to various construction and project sites on an ad hoc basis.
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable personal transport.
Preferred
- Completion of, or current enrolment in, a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an administrative, HR, recruitment, payroll, or similar office-based environment.
