About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our team based at our office in Olympic Dam, working Monday to Friday. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting a busy team with a wide range of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general administrative operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, filing, and document scanning.
- Provide administrative support across all areas of the division.
- Perform timesheet processing, including maintaining wage spreadsheets for employees and subcontractors, tracking man-hours, and preparing claim spreadsheets.
- Assist in maintaining and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Support mobilisation and demobilisation activities, including onboarding of employees and subcontractors, site access submissions, and coordination of flights and accommodation.
- Oversee stock control processes and complete monthly reconciliations.
- Maintain and update company registers.
- Manage site materials listings, including conducting supplier cost comparisons.
- Ensure Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are current and up to date.
- Coordinate materials procurement, including raising and managing purchase orders and work orders.
About You
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an administrative role (construction or mining industry highly regarded).
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A proactive and team-focused attitude.
