Role purpose and objectives
Role purpose and objectives: Ensure timely and reliable control and maintenance of regional material supply agreements, ensuring compliance with Global Policies through adherence and development of processes, application of operating procedures, collaboration across functions and ongoing interaction with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 5 years of mining experience in materials contracts management, including involvement in payment statements, contract performance evaluation and KPI reporting.
- Experience working with global policies and standards in international organisations.
- Experience in materials engineering or inventory analysis (desirable).
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (ERP) and Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate English, spoken and written.
- Availability to work on-site at the Lima corporate office.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract management and control: Analyze and control regional materials contracts to evaluate their contractual performance.
- Generate and send payment statements for active contracts (consignments).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Reportability: Issue reports that provide full visibility of contract performance and related functions.
- Generate and track the process KPIs.
- Supply strategy: Review and evaluate spot purchases of materials to strengthen existing contracts.
- Identify categories of supply that can be contracted: price agreements, consignments or Vendor Held Stock (VHS).
- Compliance and global alignment: Assess and rectify regional alignment with global policies and standards, supporting strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with different areas and stakeholders to ensure adherence to processes.
