Accounts Payable Officer

About the Opportunity

Westgold Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing and reporting of accounts payable.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office, conveniently located in the Perth CBD.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to process supplier invoices not matched in iTrack, in line with Westgold’s Delegation of Authority (DoA)
• Conduct weekly supplier payment runs and manage related queries
• Set up new suppliers in accordance with company policy and maintain ongoing communication
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, including supplier listings, trial balances, and statements
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across accounts payable processes
• Ensure compliance with Westgold policies, including DoA and leave requirements during invoice processing

About You

• Experience using Pronto and/or iTrack (preferred)
• Proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
