About the Opportunity
Westgold Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing and reporting of accounts payable.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office, conveniently located in the Perth CBD.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to process supplier invoices not matched in iTrack, in line with Westgold’s Delegation of Authority (DoA)
- Conduct weekly supplier payment runs and manage related queries
- Set up new suppliers in accordance with company policy and maintain ongoing communication
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations, including supplier listings, trial balances, and statements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across accounts payable processes
- Ensure compliance with Westgold policies, including DoA and leave requirements during invoice processing
About You
- Experience using Pronto and/or iTrack (preferred)
- Proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
