Account Manager

About the Role

As an Account Manager at Coates Kalgoorlie, you'll manage and grow a portfolio of customers across the Goldfields region. Working with customers across mining, construction and industrial sectors, you'll focus on building strong relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering equipment and site solutions that help keep their projects moving.

This is a field-based role where you'll spend time with customers, understanding their operations and project requirements while working closely with branches and specialist teams to deliver great outcomes and grow your portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and prospective customers across the Goldfields region
• Develop and execute account plans that drive revenue growth and increase share of wallet
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across customer organisations
• Identify and convert new business opportunities for equipment, site solutions and specialist services
• Prepare and present tailored solutions that deliver commercial value
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasts and CRM records
• Collaborate with branches, operations and specialist teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
• Negotiate commercial agreements while maintaining pricing and margin discipline
• Champion Coates' Safety First culture in all activities

What You'll Bring

• Experience in Account Management, Territory Management, Business Development or B2B sales
• A proven ability to grow customer relationships and drive revenue
• Strong business development and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial confidence and strong negotiation capability
• Experience managing pipelines, forecasts and CRM systems
• A proactive, self-motivated and customer-focused approach
• The ability to build strong relationships both externally and internally
• Industry experience in mining, construction, industrial services or equipment hire is advantageous, but not essential
