Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician / Electrical Technician to join a leading industrial water solutions company based in Malaga.

Working within a busy workshop environment, you’ll be involved in the electrical assembly, installation, testing and commissioning support of water treatment plants, control panels, distribution boards and associated electrical infrastructure servicing the mining, municipal, wastewater and industrial sectors across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians with experience in industrial electrical, water infrastructure, manufacturing, process plants, commissioning or switchboard environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical assembly and fabrication of water treatment plants
  • Installation of cable tray, cabling and electrical containment
  • General power and lighting installation
  • Termination of control panels and distribution boards
  • Testing, fault finding and QA/QC checks on electrical systems
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
  • Assisting with commissioning and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Maintaining high safety and quality standards

Must Have:

  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Strong industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience with switchboards, control panels and electrical testing
  • Current WA Driver's Licence
  • Strong commitment to safety and workmanship

  • Water treatment or wastewater experience
  • Mining or resource sector experience
  • Instrumentation experience
  • Commissioning experience
  • Switchboard or control panel experience
  • Previous workshop manufacturing experience
