MACA is seeking an experienced Field Service Coordinator to join our team in our Welshpool office on a permanent full-time basis.
The Field Service Coordinator provides essential operational and administrative support to the Field Service department, acting as a central coordinator for contractor labour sourcing, compliance management, and workforce administration. This role also contributes to the ongoing development and growth of the department through training and onboarding initiatives, recruitment support, cost management, and employee engagement activities.

As the Field Service Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational success and growth of the Field Service team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the sourcing and engagement of ad hoc contractor labour to meet project and site requirements.
- Managing contractor compliance, mobilisations, rosters, timesheets, purchase orders, and vendor relationships.
- Providing administrative and operational support to Field Service projects, shutdowns, and mobilisation activities.
- Supporting workforce training and development initiatives, including maintaining Training Needs Analysis (TNA) requirements and identifying skill gaps.
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and department growth initiatives to support business expansion.
- Monitoring labour costs, maintaining budget controls, and ensuring cost-effective sourcing and financial processing.
- Promoting employee engagement and collaborating with project teams to align labour and resource requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience (3–5 years) in a coordination, workforce planning, or administrative role within the mining, resources, construction, or related industries.
- Proven ability to source contractor labour, manage supplier relationships, and monitor labour costs against budgets.
- Strong systems experience, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of timesheet management, workforce rostering, mobilisation processes, and contractor compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting training, workforce development, recruitment, and onboarding activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across vendors, site teams, and internal departments.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and administrative workflows in a fast-paced environment.
