We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team, based at our Head Office in Belmont (moving to the CBD in mid-2026). Reporting to the Group Accounts Manager, this role is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounts payable support across the business while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with company procedures and financial controls.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following as a minimum:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable
- Experience processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes including coding, matching, approvals, reconciliations, and payment processing
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy and data entry capability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately including coding, matching, and approvals
- Managing high-volume invoice processing of approximately 1,200–1,500 invoices per month
- Maintaining supplier and vendor records within the financial system
- Responding to supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
- Preparing payment runs and issuing remittance advices
- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating outstanding items
- Assisting with month-end accounts payable tasks including accruals and ageing reviews
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal financial controls
- Liaising with internal departments regarding invoice approvals and payment queries
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function
